Two astronauts (Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster) awaken in a hyper-sleep chamber aboard a seemingly abandoned spacecraft. It's pitch black, they are disoriented and the only sound is a low rumble from the belly of the ship. They have no memory of who they are or what their mission is but one thing they do realise very quickly is that they are not alone.
