The year is 1591 and Korea is facing the threat of a Japanese invasion whilst dealing with internal political squabbling.  Tired of the corruption and convinced that only he can save the country, Lee Mong (Cha Seung-won) raises a rebel army and sets out on a brutal crusade to eliminate his enemies and claim the throne for himself. Opposing him is legendary blind swordsman Hwang Jung (Hwang Jeong-min). Once friends and allies, the two warriors are now destined to a bloody showdown.
